Quality Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer you will oversee all Quality functions for assigned program(s) to assure adherence to applicable quality requirements. Review new contracts to determine the quality assurance requirements and supplier flow down requirements. Develop plans and methods for assigned programs to assure adherence to all contractual quality requirements and Company policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.Review quality requirements and develop necessary plans, procedures, and process to ensure compliance for all assigned programs

2.Serve as quality expert for assigned program and work with the integrated product team to achieve program goals

3.Lead program related failure investigations from root cause analysis through corrective action and report to internal and external customers

4.Assist Quality Management in maintaining the ISO-9001 Quality Management System and all company procedures and policies as required

5.Maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping practices

6.Maintain good employee relations, and adherence to Affirmative Action Plan, Labor Laws, and EEO rules and regulations

7.All other duties as assigned





KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

1.B.S. Degree or B.A. degree in Engineering discipline (preferably Industrial Engineering) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or combination of education and work experience

2.Background in data analysis, math and statistics

3.Detail and results oriented with decision making skills

4.Good organizational skills

5.Proficient with MS Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access or Power Point

6.Strong communication skills, both oral and written

7.Able to multi-task & prioritize in a fast-paced environment

8.Leadership skills

9.Experience in an industrial/manufacturing industry

10.Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System?

 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
