Needs explicit, multi-sensory, systematic structured literacy.
- must have training in one of the following:
REWARDS, Orton Gillingham, Wilson Just Words, or Wilson Intensive or Spire or Spaulding, Barton Reading and Spelling, Lindamood Bell Lips, Seeing Stars training- explicit phonics instruction- or be willing to learn UFLI curriculum by reading the teaching manual (provided) Two hours a week.
Effectively communicate with parents and teachers as needed.
Take attendance in a tutoring portal after each session.
This a contract position- you will get an independent contractors agreement and 1099 in Jan 2025.
-Teachers with Certifications in Orton Gillingham- Wilson, Barton, etc paid- $29 and up depends on experience and expertise.
