Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists in construction zones - Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades - Communicate with construction crews and drivers to coordinate traffic flow - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and accidents - Report any incidents or issues to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions - Strong communication skills to effectively direct traffic and interact with others - Attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of traffic control devices - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and withstand various weather conditions - Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations Job Type:
